LARNED — The 13th annual Quilter’s Celebration will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on June 1 in the fellowship hall at the First Presbyterian Church, 8th and Morris, Larned. The feature presentation at this free event will be “Quilts of Valor” from Hays. Several veterans receiving Quilts of Valor will be recognized along with the Quilts of Valor groups from Hays and Great Bend. Participants may share their Quilts of Valor. Demonstrations will be presented throughout the day by the Quilting Bees guild. A Peddler’s Korner, potluck at noon, and free table of goodies are available to participants.
