Kammie Ersell Tiede and Daniel James Anderson were united in marriage on Oct. 19 in a double ring ceremony officiated by Pastor Jack Sweany at Homewood Suites at the Waterfront in Wichita. Parents of the couple are Phil and Kim Grossardt and Tom Anderson and Christine Smith. Grandparents of the bride are Ray and Ersell Tiede of Great Bend. Grandparents of the groom are Leland and Dorothy Shields of Wichita.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Sottero and Midgley A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrically ruched bodice. Swarovski crystals and lace embellished the bust line and throughout the billowing pick-up skirt with a bubble hem train. Her waist length Swarovski veil was crystal beaded. She carried a bouquet of white, lavender and peach roses with pincushion protea and sweet william intertwined with grapevine.
Maid of honor was Tegan Perry of Wichita. Bridesmaids were Andrea Zimmerman of Wichita, Megan Belisle of Bel Aire and Jenna Hendershot of Maize. They wore eggplant European satin strapless gowns with a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical pleats to accent the bodice.
Best man was Jason Shroyer of Tuscon, Ariz. Josh Belisle of Derby, Jake Voegeli of Kansas City and Joey Johnson of Derby.
Ushers were Jon Pike, cousin of the bride, of Wichita and Rob Murphy, brother-in-law of the groom, of St. Mary’s.
Flowergirl was Zoey Murphy, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Liam Murphy, nephew of the groom.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2012, she graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in Music. She is employed as a manager for Longhorn Steakhouse in Wichita.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Wichita North High school. In 2004, he graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He is employed as a change management analyst at Spirit AeroSystems.
The couple resides in Wichita.
