Casey Roberts and Michael Batchman were united in marriage on Jan. 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood in a double ring ceremony officiated by Father Terrance Klein. Parents of the couple are Max and Kathy Roberts of Great Bend and Paul and Susie Batchman of Ellinwood.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory Alfred Angelo tulle and lace ball gown with an all lace portrait collar and three quarter lace sleeves. The top was accented in sequins, crystals and pearls while the tulle skirt was accented with lace appliques. The vintage cathedral length veil was edged in floral lace trim. The ivory veil was passed down to the bride and previously worn by her mother.
Maid of honor was Meredith Sauber, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Lewis, Jessica Schartz, and Katie Gatton.
Best man was Mark Batchman, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Craig Schartz, Aaron Pohlman and Travis Trarbach.
Ushers were Kyle Roberts and Cory Roberts, both brothers of the bride; Brett Roberts, nephew of the bride; and A.J. Roberts, nephew of the bride.
Flower girls were Sophie and Ava Roberts, Alyvia and Mallory Batchman, nieces of the bride and groom. Ringbearer was Shawn Trarbach, godson of the groom.
Candle lighters Canyon Roberts and Cale Batchman, nephews of the bride and groom. Vocalists was Melissa Boll, cousin of the bride and Patty Sauber, aunt of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School. She is employed by Golden Belt Feeders in St. John.
The groom is a graduate of Ellinwood High School. He is employed at Klepper Farms in Ellinwood.
The couple resides in Ellinwood.
