Andrea Kristian Degenhardt and Nicholas Adam Farmer were united in marriage on April 26, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hoisington in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Father Anselm Eke. Parents of the bride are Richard and Mary Lou Degenhardt of Hoisington. Parents of the groom are Deborah Farmer of Great Bend and the late Jerry Farmer. Grandparents of the bride are Margaret Ney of Hoisington and LeRoy and Marilyn Degenhardt of Great Bend. Grandparent of the groom is Louie Wintholz of Great Bend. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Becky McCoy. Bridesmaids were Jamie Grey, Leah Fitzjarrald, Leah Batt, and Christina Harder.
Bestman was Adam Wintholz, uncle of the groom. Groomsmen were Brandon Maser, Will Leiker, Lance Kilgore, Garrett Breese.
Ushers were Alan Collier, brother of the bride, Aaron Hollister and Brandon Foster, brothers of the groom, and Charlie Lamb, brother-in-law of the groom.
Junior bridesmaid was Paige Lamb, niece of the groom.
Flower girl was Anistyn Foster, niece of the groom.
Ring princess was Adalyn Batt.
Usherette was Ellie Lamb, niece of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Great Bend High School and the University of Phoenix. She is employed by Allen, Gibbs, and Houlik, a CPA and Advisors firm.
The groom is a graduate of Goodwill Education/ATC and is employed by Lampton Welding Supply, as a welding and medical gas distributor.
The couple resides in Wichita.
