Lacey Jo Moore and Hunter Ryan Farris were united in marriage on June 19 at the First Christian Church in Great Bend in a double ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. William Johnson. Parents of the couple are Lane and LaDonna Moore of Great Bend, Debbie McClain of Spring, Tx., and Neel and Karen Farris of Center, Tx.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless fitted A-line gown with a dipped neckline and lace up back by Maggie Sottero. The dress featured ivory lace over light gold satin embellished with crystal beads and pearls which trailed from the fitted bodice and dropped waist onto gathered ivory tulle full skirt. She wore an ivory faux beaded flower, featuring wispy feathers on a silver crystal comb and a double elbow length ivory veil with a lace edge embellished with crystal beads and pearls by Edward Berger, in addition to a traditional chin length blusher and a pearl necklace, pearl earrings and a diamond watch. She carried a bouquet of large white hydrangeas hand tied with cream satin ribbon
Matron of Honor was Aubree Miller, sister of the bride, of Nashville, Tenn. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Debes of Great Bend, Amy Ellis and Abbey Greenwade, both of Dallas, Tx., Jenni Vaughan of Honolulu, Hi., Lindsay Sieben of Manhattan, Callie Line of Overland Park, Meghan Moore, sister-in-law of the bride, of Bartlesville, Okla., Hannah Farris sister of the groom of Austin, Tx., and Breanna Ramirez, cousin of the bride, of Olathe. The bridesmaids wore cocktail length strapless gowns of coral silk chiffon with a delicate crinkled texture by J. Crew. The softly flowing gowns featured a sweet heart neckline with a twisted bodice and a softly pleated empire waist. They wore matching pearl and chiffon necklaces with pearl earrings and carried bouquets of large white hydrangeas and coral ecuadorian roses hand tied with cream satin ribbon.
Bestman was Ash Reneker of Dallas, Tx. Groomsmen were Hudson Farris, brother of the groom, of Spring, Tx., Tony Chavez of McAllen, Tx., Anthony Moschella, David Schnautz and Hector Servantes, all of Austin, Tx., Kevin Pierson of Morgantown, W. V., Casey Billy of Birmingham, Ala., Jesse Moore, brother of the bride, of Bartlesville, Okla., and David Miller, brother-in-law of bride, of Nashville, Tenn.
Ringbearer was Elian Ramirez, cousin of the bride of Olathe.
Ushers were Matt Davis of Houston, Tx., Caden Butler, cousin of the bride, of Lawrence, Skyler Butler, cousin of the bride of Hays, and Shane Bauerle of Austin, Tx.
Pianist was Jenny Allford, alto saxophone was Charles Moyers, and vocal soloist was Alicia Westhoff, all of Great Bend.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Communications, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. She is employed as an Advertising Account Supervisor for Wheeler Advertising Inc. in Arlington, Tx.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of James Bowie High School in Austin, Tx. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing. He is employed as the General Manager of Pappasito’s Cantina in Richardson, Tx.
After a honeymoon in Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Lewisville, Tx.
