Melissa Elizabeth Edwards and Bruce Alan Jamison were united in marriage on Dec. 12, 2010 at Canyon Gate Country Club in Las Vegas, Nev. in a ceremony officiated by Bob Burrows. Parents of the couple are Bob and Nancy Edwards of Bellevue, Wash. and Michael and Lynda Jamison of Great Bend.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a cream colored lace mermaid dress with a sweetheart neckline and tiara. She carried a bouquet of mixed white and light pink roses with lilies scattered in with gold accents, wrapped in light pink.
Matron of honor was Ariana Baker, of Little Rock, Ark. Bridesmaids were Lara Harris of San Francisco, Calif., Katie Riley of Minneapolis, Minn., Eliza Enyert of Oregon, Miranda Edwards, sister of the bride, of Bellevue, Wash. and Bethany Jamison, sister of the groom, of Hutchinson. They wore silver dresses and carried bouquets made of dusty pink roses.
Best man was Matthew Breit of Great Bend. Groomsmen were Nathan Andrews of Ellis, 1st Lieutenant Gradon Sponaugle of Hurlburt, Fla. and 1st Lieutenant Laurence Pineda of New Jersey.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., with a major in Foreign Studies and two minors in Russian and Philosophy. She is a protocol officer, coordinating special events and distinguished visitors.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering Managements and is a United States Air Force 1st Lieutenant, KC-135 pilot.
The couple is stationed at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk England.
