Jennifer Tunks and Jay Johnson were united in marriage on March 19 at Teton Village, Wyo. Parents of the bride are Gene Tunks of Commerce, Okla., and Rod and June Weiszbrod of Woodward, Okla. Parents of the groom are Ron Johnson of Sayre, Okla., and Pam and Willie Eslinger of Hammon, Okla.
The bride wore a cream colored trumpet gown with lace overlay and a family heirloom pearl necklace and earrings. She carried a handmade bouquet of pinecones accented with baby’s breath and her great-grandmothers brooch.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Woodward High School. She is a student at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Woodward studying social work. She is employed at Western Plains Youth Shelter in Woodward, Okla.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Carnegie High School. He is a former professional bull rider. He is employed by AWS Drilling Fluids in Clinton, Okla., as a district warehouse manager.
The couple has two children, Jesse and Leslie, and reside in Hammon, Okla.
