Kari Geshwentner and Kyle Kaiser were united in marriage on Sept. 27, at Eberly Farms in Wichita in a double ring ceremony officiated by Aaron Andrews, friend of the groom, of Great Bend. Parents of the groom are Jann Kaiser and Doug and Michelle Kaiser of Great Bend. Paternal grandparents of the groom are David and Dana Foss, Joyce and Mike Burnham all of Great Bend, and the late Vernon Kaiser. Maternal grandparents are the late William and Susan Turner.
Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore an ivory lace gown with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses. The groom wore a black tuxedo with an ivory vest.
Matron of honor was Amy Sowersby, sister of the bride, of Wichita. Bridesmaids were Katie Dobbs and April Platzner, sisters of the bride, and Kenzie Sowersby, niece of the bride, all of Wichita. They wore black lace dresses with autumn bouquets.
Best man was Christopher Kaiser, brother of the groom, of Manhattan. Groomsmen were Derik Schneider of Great Bend, Matthew Vainer of Wichita, and Justin Ratts of Denver, Colo. They wore black tuxedos with burgundy vests.
Flower girls were Allyson Kaiser of Great Bend, sister of the groom, Hannah Somersby, Abby Sowersby, and Sophia Sowersby, all nieces of the bride, of Wichita.
Ushers were Alan Crowther, uncle of the groom, of Great Bend, Cody Crowther, cousin of the groom, of Dallas, Texas, and Nate Myers of Hays.
The bride is a graduate of Goddard High School. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wichita State and is employed at EMC Insurance in Wichita.
The groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from Barton Community College and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kansas State University. He completed the Dillon’s managerial program and is employed by Dillon’s on Rock Road in Wichita.
After returning from their honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen Mexico, the couple will reside in Wichita.
