Nicole Becker and Lane Meyer were united in marriage on June 19 in a double ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Dick Ogle of Hoisington. Parents of the couple are Michael and Wanda Becker and Greg Meyer and Melinda Meyer, all of Great Bend.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero diamond white strapless, A-line gown with lace-up and sweetheart neckline made from chiffon with a fluted side drape and a cutaway feature accenting the train. It was beaded with diamond crystals and pearls. Her headpiece was made out of diamond crystals and pearls as was the elbow veil. She wore diamond and pearl necklace, earrings, and bracelet.
Maid of honor was Shelly Bullard of Great Bend. Bridesmaids were LyNee Alloway, sister of the groom, Lindsey Creamer and Nichelle Bradley, all of Great Bend.
Bestman was Jon Welch of Great Bend. Groomsmen were Dustin Alloway, brother-in-law of the groom and Zachary Becker, brother of the bride, both of Great Bend, and Travis Burhenn of Hoisington.
Junior bride was Abbie Meyer, daughter of the bride and groom.
Flowergirl was Taylor Alloway, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Gavin Alloway nephew of the groom.
Ushers were Zachary Becker, brother of the bride, of Great Bend and Trent Burhenn of Lawrence.
Organist was Tandi Mai and vocalist was Shelly Ramsey.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Barton Community College in 2010 with a business administration degree. She will be attending Fort Hays State University in the spring of 2011, to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is employed part-time at Tele-Communications Answering Service.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. He studied mechanics at BCC. He is employed as a business technician for Cox Communications.
The couple reside in Great Bend.
