Barton Community College will celebrate Poetry month through April by offering community members a chance to share original poetry or to recite others poetry at live reading sessions from 12:15-12:45 p.m. on April 10, 17 and 24 in the Student Union as well as an opportunity to upload their own poetry to Barton’s website.
Submissions can also be posted to the college’s website by going here: poetrymonth.bartonccc.edu   
The public is also encouraged to participate in Poem In Your Pocket Day in which people carry copies of poems on business card sized pieces of paper and give them out to other people throughout the day.  This will take place on April 18.
