Barton music students and area high school students to present recital

Barton Community College will present a student recital of instrumental and vocal performances, including guest performances by several area high school students, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in the Fine Arts Building, F-157. Admission is free.
The recital will include vocal performances by Barton students Jessica Perez of Zacatecas, Mexico; Rose Radenberg of Claflin; Holland Mosier of Great Bend; Tiara Espinosa  and Hannah Maddy, both of Ellinwood; Matt Nolte of Hays; Joshua Greer of Hoisington; and Cora Borell of Wilson.
Instrumental numbers will be performed by Barton students Tyler Wassenberg of Abilene; Kira Kreutzer of Russell; Tyler Lewis of Norton; Amelia Maze of Ellsworth; Joshua Greer of Hoisington; and Jennifer Pfortmiller, Ben Gregg and Desiree Workman, all of Great Bend.  
Special guest high school performers are Haley Blake, Hannah Mosier, Erin Bowers and Estella Schumacher of Great Bend High School and Rachel Herter of Larned High School.
Song selections will be varied, from Verdi’s “Caro Nome” from “Rigoletto,” to “Different” from “Honk” by Styles. Solos will be performed vocally as well as on piano, organ, flute, trombone, trumpet and saxophone.
