Barton Community College art students and art instructor Steve Dudek had their work displayed in the Professional Art Exhibit at the Kansas State Fair.

Art student Karole Erikson, Great Bend, exhibited digital photographs and won two first-place awards. Dudek received a third-place award for a watercolor painting of Japanese Koi fish titled "Curved Impressions."

Other students exhibiting their work were Joyce Barker, Great Bend, oil painting; Bart Hoar, Great Bend, watercolor; Donna Hall, Great Bend, watercolor; Diane Engle, Great Bend, watercolor; Karen Shaner, Great Bend, watercolor; and Rose Dudek, Great Bend, oil painting.
