Barton Community College will hold auditions for its spring musical “Sweet Charity,” at 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 2 and 3, in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Auditions will be held for singing and non-singing roles. Singers must use specific songs to audition. Audition practice tracks and sheet music are available at the website bartonccc.edu by clicking on the “Sweet Charity” icon on the homepage. Those auditioning may also be asked to read an excerpt from the script. Scripts will be provided. A dance audition will also be held. Everyone will be asked to perform a dance audition; however, not everyone will need to dance in the show.
Rehearsals begin Jan. 13 and will run all the way up to the production dates of March 7-9, 2014.
