Athletic insurance quotes are on the agenda for the next Barton Community College Board of Trustees study session, set for 4 p.m. Thursday in room F-30 of the college’s Fine Arts Building.
The low quote is from Guaranteed Trust (First Agency) for $79,982.
Other items on the agenda include revisions to the Cattle Production certificate program and AAS degree in agribusiness; the college financial statement; facilities update; capital projects for Fiscal Year 2013; FY 13 budget update; and proposed revisions to this year’s meeting schedule.
Upcoming meetings will include a budget hearing at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, in conjunction with the board study session. Prior to that meeting, trustees will attend a reception in the Student Union to celebrate the completion of remodeling in that building. The regular board meeting set for Aug. 16 will be moved to Aug. 23; the Sept. 6 study session will be moved to Sept. 13; and the Sept. 20 meeting will be moved to Sept. 27.
