The Heartland Center for Spirituality is offering an overnight bird watching tour in the Great Bend and Cheyenne Bottoms wetland area, May 9-10.
The Center’s resident bird-watching expert, Philip St. Romain, will lead an evening presentation and a morning of bird watching. Participants should bring binoculars, a field guide and comfortable clothing.
Cost is $45 for the overnight package, which may be extended one night and two more meals for an additional $35. The commuter rate is $20. Included in the package is the Friday evening social and presentation/movie, single room accommodation for one night, breakfast and lunch on May 10 and the excursion to Cheyenne Bottoms.
