Great Bend Police are investigating a report of a rape at a residence in the 1100 block of Morphy St. Reports show someone entered the residence by force at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and that the assailant had a knife or other cutting instrument. A woman in her early 20s was reportedly raped; another woman of similar age contacted the police at 1:58 a.m. and they arrived within three minutes. Evidence was collected, including a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner kit.Capt. Bob Robinson said Friday that no arrests have been made.
