A Hoisington man suffered lacerations to his face after the car he was riding in struck a road grader on K-96 at SW 10 Road, the Barton County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Justin Campbell, 42, was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital via ambulance following the accident.
BCSO reports the accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Monday when a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Christopher Ellison, 34, of Great Bend struck a Buffalo Township road grader driven by Mark Smith, 54, of Great Bend. Campbell was a passenger in the car.
“Statements from the scene reflect the road grader made a left-hand turn in front of the Grand Am, which was following the road grader,” according to a statement issues by the sheriff’s office.
