City employee battered

Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings reports a city employee who was working on the river dike on July 25 was harassed and battered. “His assailant was on a dirt bike, white in color with a muscle milk decal on the back of it,” Akings said.
The victim reported having his foot run over and rocks thrown at him as he was yelled at with vulgar language.
This incident is the Crime Stoppers crime of the week. Anyone with information about who the person is who rides this type of bike is asked to called 792-1300 or 888-305-1300 to leave an anonymous tip.
