The Great Bend Police Department plans to test tornado sirens at noon on Monday, March 12, Lt. Bill Browne said.

Normally, sirens are tested every Tuesday at noon, starting in March and continuing into the summer. However, GBPD will participate in a statewide tornado drill on Tuesday. After next week, the Tuesday tests will begin.
