Barton Community College’s instrumental music department will present the Barton Community Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, in the college’s Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is free.

The orchestra and jazz ensemble are conducted by Steven Lueth, Barton’s director of instrumental music activities. The orchestra will present the Minuet and Trio from "Symphony No. 39 in Eb" by Mozart; Rondo from "Sonatina in C" by Schmitt; the first movement from Bach’s "Concerto in D Minor"; and the complete "Concerto Polonois" by Telemann.

The Jazz Ensemble will play a funk number, "Mind Your P’s and Q’s"; a Latin selection titled "Contessa"; and two traditional jazz selections, "Stolen Moments" and "Just Friends."
