The third annual Charity Chili Cook-off is set for Saturday, Nov. 3. Serving will start at 11 a.m. at two locations: along Main Street from 12th to 16th, and in the Westgate Shopping Center on K-96.Thirteen entrants have already signed on to give chili lovers a chance to taste several delectable varieties, said Sarah Krom at Sunflower Diversified Services. With all proceeds going to the Food Bank as part of a Sunflower outreach to the community, Krom wants people to know, “there is still time to join in the fun as a cook.”Tasting and the blind judging will begin at 11 a.m. The public is encouraged purchase a $5 taster bracelet, have a leisurely lunch and select the People’s Choice Chili 2012.
