Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about a robbery that occurred at 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 in Great Bend. According to Police Chief Dean Akings, a man living in a camper at 835 10th St. was beaten and robbed.
“The three white male assailants unplugged electric power to his camper,” Akings said. “When he exited the camper to check this, he was beaten and robbed. One of the suspects entered the camper and stole a 32-inch flat screen TV with DVD player, and a cell phone. Total loss was $1,000.”
Akings said the incident was recorded by surveillance camera, and officers are looking for a red Monte Carlo in connection with this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call 792-1300 or 888-305-1300 to leave an anonymous tip.
