The “Defensive Driving” course will be taught from 1-4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 28-29, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St.
The course is sponsored by the Great Bend Recreation Commission, the Commission on Aging and Barton County Farm Bureau, and taught by Kansas Highway Patrolman Steve Billinger.
After students attend this course, most insurance companies will lower premiums for participants that receive certificates at the end of the class. To register or for more information, call the Recreation Commission office, 793-3755 ext. 2.  Participants must register by noon on Wednesday, April 23.
