Dr. Robin Durrett, DO, will be the guest speaker when the Touched by Cancer support group meets at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Heartland Cancer Center. His topic will be “A Cancer Diagnosis can be a Blessing.”As a cancer survivor Dr. Durrett will speak about how his cancer diagnosis has been a blessing not only in his personal life but also as a physician.Everyone attending is welcome to share their Thanksgiving blessings and their cancer experience as a current patient, cancer survivor, care giver, family member or friend who has been touched by cancer.The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
