The Great Bend Area Support Group of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Kansas will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Thelma Harms Room at St. Rose Ambulatory and Surgical Center.
Dr. Patrick Stang will speak on the topic of mediations for mental illness. Stang works at the Center for Counseling and Consultation and is a long-time Great Bend resident. 
The local NAMI organization provides peer support, education and advocacy for individuals living with a  mental illness and their family members.
