Those interested in forming a new Neighborhood Watch group in Great Bend are invited to attend a second preparatory/discussion meeting, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rosewood Meeting Room, at 16th and Main. The first meeting of the group was held Nov. 17. Attendees were particularly concerned about a perceived large increase in incidence of burglaries in a northwest/midtown area of Great Bend.

Scott Harper, with the Great Bend Police Department, will attend, to provide his recommendations on how to continue, organizer Dennis Neeland said.

The meeting is open to all concerned citizens of Great Bend.
