Tickets will go on sale Wednesday for the 2011 Great Bend High School Hall of Fame luncheon honoring Don Halbower, former GBHS principal, and Dan McGovern, a 1960 GBHS graduate who held a variety of high level positions in the administrations of President Reagan and the first President Bush, as well as the California state government.
The luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the Highland Hotel and Convention Center Heritage Room, 3017 W. 10th Street. Business casual dress is suggested.
Luncheon tickets are $15 per ticket or may be purchased by reserving a table for eight for $200. The $200 tables are reserved for specific groups and include a donation to help fund the Hall of Fame.

The actual induction ceremony will be at approximately 7:10 p.m. Feb. 24 between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games at the high school gymnasium.
A reception will follow the boys’ basketball game at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the Jack Kilby Commons at the high school.
