The Great Bend Recreation Commission wants to help dads start off the summer with a golf outing with their kids. GBRC’s Golf Outing with Dad event is for children ages 8-16 years of age accompanied by an adult.  The outing will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at the StoneRidge Golf Course.
Each team will golf nine holes alternating shots, said Garet Fitzpatrick, GBRC program coordinator. “This is not a tournament, but rather a fun afternoon of golfing with your child,” he said.
The entry fee is $20 per team (additional child $10; limit of two children per adult). Call StoneRidge Golf Shop, 792-4306, by 4 p.m. today to register. Cart rental is an additional fee.
