Kansas Wetlands Education Center Educator Jean Aycok will present “Stories in the Stars” at the next Great Bend Recreation Center Stop ‘N Learn. The free one-hour program will be given at noon on Wednesday, March 19, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St., and repeated at 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.
Aycok notes that Cheyenne Bottoms offers a perfect star gazing venue with its wide open spaces and its distance from the lights of town. She will identify some constellations and the stories behind them.
