A Great Bend man was taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington with possible injury after two vehicles collided Saturday on U.S. 281, one mile north of Great Bend.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at 12:11 p.m. when a southbound Chevy S-10 driven by Robert A. Grabhorn, 66, Great Bend, stopped on the highway for a left turn, and was rear-ended by a southbound Silverado driven by Zachary D. Sanders, 19, of Hoisington.
The S-10 entered the west ditch and went through a tree row before coming to rest.
Sanders was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
