The Great Bend Middle School Band Department will have a fall concert on Thursday. The concert will feature the GBMS Jazz Ensemble, 7th Grade Band and the 8th Grade Band. The 7th grade concert will begin at 6:45 p.m. and the 8th grade concert will start at 8:15 p.m. Both concerts are held in the GBMS gym. Some of the 7th grade band performance selections will be: R.O.C.K. In The U.S.A., Thriller and God Bless America. Some of the 8th grade band selections will be: Don’t Stop Believin’ and Sweet Caroline. The GBMS Jazz Ensemble will also perform a wide variety of jazz and popular music. The concert is directed by Kurtis Koch with the assistance of Mark DeWald.
