Great Bend Public Library announces free programs

More free movies, game days and computer classes will be offered in the coming weeks at the Great Bend Public Library, 1409 Williams St., according to spokesman Jennifer King.
Teen Movie Monday continues to meet at 4 p.m. on Mondays. It is open to students in grades 7-12.
Teen Game Day will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Introduction to Microsoft Word 2010 will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, and a class on the basics of Novelist will be offered at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1. Learn to use Novelist to discover new authors or find recommendations, book discussion guides and reviews. Pre-registration is required for free computer classes and can be done at the library or online at the library’s website at greatbendpl.info, or call 792-2409.
Free movies and popcorn will be offered at the After-School Movie at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 and the Adults’ Night Out movie, “The Big Wedding,” will be shown at 7 p.m. on Oct. 4.
