An educational program designed to help people with diabetes with food choices during the holidays will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the St. Dominic Room at St. Rose Ambulatory and Surgical Center. Donna Krug, Barton County Family and Consumer Science Agent, will share information about portion size and sweeteners. She will also give participants ideas on how to manage their diet during the season known for rich foods. Healthy refreshments will be served. The program is free an open to everyone. Due to the parking lot construction, participants will want to enter at the emergency room door on the southeast side of St. Rose.
