The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn Session at the Brit Spaugh Zoo on Tuesday, Dec. 10. “Jungle Bell Rock” runs for noon to 1 p.m. Zoo Education Coordinator Amber Koch will explain how the “cold-blooded” animals eat, sleep and live. From basking on rocks to hanging from trees, these reptiles can teach humans a thing or two about how they keep warm.
