The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be host "Update on Radon," a free Stop ‘N Learn Session, from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. According to Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick, radon levels have been reported in every community in Barton County. The only way to be sure that a home does not have a problem is to perform a short term test.

Test kits will be available at the program for $5. Barton County Extension Agent Donna Krug will be the presenter.
