Krug to present Loving Long-Distance

The free educational program “Loving Long-Distance: Families Separated by Distance” will help participants understand the time motivation, and effort it takes to keep connected during times of geographical separation.
The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host this Stop ‘N Learn Session from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St., and again at 1 p.m. Friday at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.
Barton County Extension Agent Donna Krug will be the presenter. Krug explains, “The holidays are coming and for many families an obstacle to maintaining family connection can be distance. This program will encourage participants to share their experiences and successful tools for long-distance relationships with others."
