The Great Bend Recreation Commission has a few openings left for its Discovering Music and Fun program. This program meets from 9-10:30 a.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 4 through Dec. 16, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St.

During this class, children 3-5 years old will be introduced to basic preschool skills along with some fun seasonal projects, according to Garret Fitzpatrick, GBRC program coordinator. They will also explore the world of music through favorite melodies, musical movement games and activities. Cost is $13.
