Library announces events

Upcoming events at the Great Bend Public Library, 1409 William St., include movies, an author visit and a book club meeting.
Teen Movie Monday starts at 4 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the Teen Spot at the library. It is open to students in grades 7-12.
Roger Fry, author of “The Chronicles of John Grant,” will be stopping by the library on Wednesday, Dec. 18, to launch his new book. The event will begin with a book reading at 6 p.m. This will be followed by a book signing.
The Open Book Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. This month the club is reading books about celebrations. Any book that fits into the theme works. This book club is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
