Library announces movies, membership drive

Great Bend Public Library, 1409 Williams St., will show “Red Dawn” at 4 p.m. Monday, April 1, for Teen Movie Monday, open to students in grades 7-12.
The next After-School Movie will be shown at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 5 and is for all ages. It’s the sequel to a computer animated blockbuster about the toys Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, Rex and Hamm.
The Adults’ Night Out Movie, “Les Miserables,” will shown at 7 p.m. April 5 for anyone 18 and older.
The annual membership meeting of the Great Bend Public Library Friends will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, in the lower level meeting room of the library. Members will elect officers for 2013-2014. New memberships are accepted and are $10 for individuals and $20 for families.
