Students at the Teen Spot at the Great Bend Public Library will be making Cubee Crafts Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. This event is open to all students in grades 7-12.
Librarian Jennifer King said teens will make pop tab bracelets at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Several activities are planned at the Teen Spot starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, as Teen Read Week wraps up. Teens can make comic book coasters in a do-it-yourself project sponsored by Plaid Enterprises, and can watch a movie where the world is saved from the brink of disaster by the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. The team includes superheroes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and The Hulk.
