Helping Hands Preschool, along with Barton County Cooperative of Special Services and USD #428 - Great Bend, is looking for children to fill a limited number of openings still available in the 4-Year-old At-Risk Program for the 2011-2012 school year. This free program is sponsored by a grant from the Kansas State Board of Education. Helping Hands Preschool offers this program for children living in the Great Bend school district.
To qualify for the program, children must be 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2011, and live in the Great Bend school district. The child and/or family must also meet at least one of the other eligibility criteria.
Other than the one time $40 enrollment fee, this program is free. Busing is also available.
