A Macksville woman was hospitalized and a Larned man suffered possible injuries Friday after two vehicles collided in Pawnee County, 8 miles north of Macksville.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Thomas S. Prescott, 24, of Larned was in a westbound Dodge Ram on F Road at 6:23 p.m. and failed to stop at 40th Ave. His truck collided with a Dodge Neon driven by Debi S. Smith, 60, of Macksville, who was southbound on 40th Ave.
Smith was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. On Saturday a hospital spokesman said she remained in serious condition.
It was unknown whether she was wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred. Prescott was not wearing a seat belt.
