Man arrested for allegedly selling drugs near school

A Great Bend man was arrested on suspicion of selling narcotics, after the Great Bend Police Department  assisted the Kansas Bureau of Investigation in executing search warrants, Tuesday afternoon in the 2400 block of Coronado Ave.
Records show police assisted an outside agency with executing a search warrant at 2:09 p.m. Tuesday, and at 2:33 police assisted the KBI with a narcotics search warrant executed next door to the first search warrant.
Jesus J. Nunez was arrested on suspicion of selling narcotics within  1,000 feet of a school. Jefferson Elementary is located a few blocks from the scene of the drug raid.
Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety through Barton County District Court.
