Grief Encouragement Group, sponsored by Harden Hospice Kansas, will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. on the following dates: March 13 and 27, April 10 and 24, and May 8 and 22, at 1117 North Washington St. in Great Bend. Register by calling Chaplain Dave Delinger, 620-664-5757.
These support group meetings are facilitated by a Harden Hospice Kansas representative. Refreshments will be provided. Topics to be covered include the process and effects of grief; the myths and cliches of grief; surviving holidays and special days; six needs for reconciliation and mourners’ rights; identifying coping skills, healing and saying goodbye.
