The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn Session, “Birds That Migrate Through the Cheyenne Bottoms,” at noon Wednesday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St.  This program will also be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. Staff from the Kansas Wetlands Education Center will present information about some of the birds that migrate through Cheyenne Bottoms and the effect of the drought on this year’s migration.
