The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled "The Truth About C.S.I.," at noon Thursday at the GBRC Activity Center, 2715 18th St. During this one-hour class, Criminal Justice Instructor Randy Smith from Barton Community College will show how fingerprints are taken and focus on the science of forensics when it comes to a crime scene investigation. He will also describe other evidence gathering skills that detectives need to know.
