Chet Cale, whose sculpture “The Gift” was unveiled in front of the Barton County Courthouse last month, will discuss the process of creation  during “Dialogue with the Artist,” at 7 p.m. Friday at the Barton County Arts Center, 1401 Main, Great Bend.
Cale will describe the process, from initial sketches to clay maquettes to the full-sized clay figures — from molds to bronze pours to installation and lighting of the monumental piece of sculpture. Each step of the process is on display at the Barton Arts Center into early June.
The Barton County Arts Council is a non-profit charitable and educational organization supported by individuals, businesses and organizations and funding from The City of Great Bend and Barton County.
