The Shafer Art Gallery will be closed Friday, Nov. 1, until Sunday, Nov. 24 in preparation of its holiday exhibit. The gallery will reopen Nov. 24 from 1-5 p.m. with the Festival of Trees exhibit as well as the Jacob’s Ladder exhibit featuring ornate quilts from the National Quilt Museum. The opening reception for the exhibit will be held two weeks later on Dec. 8.
