In honor of the new school year, St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2101 Jackson St., Great Bend, will be serving hotdogs and all the fixings, as well as sundaes for dessert at a sundae bar, following the service on Sunday, Sept. 22. The community is invited to join this celebration, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mark Fellowship Hall.
Freewill donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go to the church’s Education Assistance Program. Sarah Bray from the Christian Education committee explains that is a program established to help St. Mark members cover the cost of a Christian-based education, from kindergarten and up, including college.
