St. Mark Lutheran WELCA (Women of the ELCA) will host the annual Soup Lunch on Sunday, Oct. 13.  The menu includes homemade chicken noodle/butterball soup, homemade taco soup, homemade dessert and other accompaniments. Serving will be from 11 am to 1 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall, 2101 Jackson St., Great Bend. Carry-out will be available.  Admission is by freewill offering and all the proceeds will go toward various church projects.
St. Mark Lutheran in Great Bend and St. Paul Lutheran, Galatia, will begin their fall/winter service schedule on Sunday, Oct. 6. Worship service at St. Mark will begin at 9 a.m. with children’s church during the service and coffee hour following at 10 a.m. St. Paul will hold Sunday school at 10 a.m., followed by regular worship service at 11 a.m.
St. Mark and St. Paul are led by the Rev. Pastor Adam Wutka and are congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
